Tech4Positive Futures

Technology has the potential to provide innovative and scalable solutions to address today’s most pressing social challenges. Through our focus on Tech4Positive Futures, we leverage cutting-edge technologies to drive meaningful social impact.

The Tech4Positive Futures Challenge is a key part of our program, launched in 2020. It invites all our talent to bring their technology and innovation expertise to develop technology-driven, solutions to support the work of a broad ecosystem of partners, and amplify impact on the ground.

Now in its third year, hundreds of teams worldwide participate in the challenge. Solutions are judged firstly at a country level. The top-performing teams then advance to the global finale, where their projects are judged by ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Group Executive Committee board members. Entries are assessed based on several stringent criteria, including the quality of partnerships with NGOs, scalability, feasibility, and potential impact.

“ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ has a key role to play in ensuring that the future lives up to all its promises. We believe that all technologies can enable progress for everyone if, first and foremost, they are designed by and for humans. As a responsible company, the Group is realistic when it comes to the promises as well as the risks of technological innovation: our role is to make it useful, accessible and ethical. This purpose must act as a compass for each and every employee.”

Aiman Ezzat, ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Group Chief Executive Officer
