Role Description:

The role requires process expertise and providing operational guidance within process assigned, overseeing process quality and performing end- to- end process checks, as well as generation of advanced analyses and nonstandard reports. Also involved in process improvement tasks.

General Accountabilities

  • Responsible for timely and accurate recording of transactions in the accounting systems in line with Group and local accounting and tax rules
  • End to end process control
  • Generating standard and non standard reports for internal purposes
  • Managing external and internal queries from other process participants
  • Performing advanced calculations and analyses (eg. estimation of accruals, advanced cost allocations)
  • Assistance in Group and statutory external reporting (depending on process and accountabilities- drafting of tax returns, disclosure notes)
  • Participation in internal projects impacting finance/ tax areas
  • Providing process expertise to other parties involved in the process/ manage & train more junior staff engaged in the process

Qualifications:

  • Finance background
  • Must have at least 2-4 years of experience in the similar role
  • Very good analytical skills
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy, at the same time able to see overall process and bigger picture
  • Hands on IFRS/ Local and tax GAAP/ TransFORM knowledge
  • Expertise within process served
  • Able to work without supervision and manage small teams
  • Able to manage and be accountable for end- to- end process
  • Able to independently solve day to day problems and provide improvement ideas
  • Very good knowledge of accounting/ reporting systems and tools and MS Excel
