Can you walk us through a typical day in your life at ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½?

I currently work in the Cloud Infrastructure Services business line at ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½. My typical workday begins at 8:30 AM when I arrive at the office. On days when my meetings are less interactive, such as presentations, I especially enjoy working from the office. After a quick 10-minute setup, I start my day by checking and responding to emails and Teams updates, which usually takes about 10 minutes. I then focus on my most important tasks for the day. Some mornings, my team holds 10-30 minute stand-up meetings to discuss progress and align on priorities. Before my lunch break at 12:30 PM, I like to make myself a cup of coffee or tea and take a moment to enjoy the stunning views from our Level 10 office, which has floor-to-ceiling glass walls. This small ritual helps me recharge and refocus. I usually bring my own lunch, allowing me to connect with colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere at the dining area. Our conversations range from fitness and cooking tips to the latest developments in technology, including AI news. I value these catch-ups because they provide insights from a diverse group of people—from recent graduates to senior directors across various business lines. When I have technical questions, I often turn these casual discussions into quick mentoring sessions. I appreciate how patient and willing my colleagues are to share their knowledge, which reflects the collaborative and supportive culture at ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½. After lunch, I continue working on my tasks until 5:30 PM. In the afternoon, a coffee break paired with a piece of fruit or a biscuit from the office kitchen keeps me energised. After 5:30, I start wrapping up my work for the day. I usually walk home—a pleasant 20-minute route through a historic university campus and a nearby park. This walk is a highlight of my day, giving me time to listen to my favorite music, reflect on work, and feel grateful for the opportunity to pursue what I’m passionate about while continuously growing.

What advice would you give to aspiring graduates looking to join ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½?

My advice to aspiring graduates is to stay curious and open to learning. ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ provides a supportive environment where one can grow both personally and professionally. Be proactive—ask questions, seek feedback, and take advantage of the wealth of knowledge around you. Essential skills for success include problem-solving, effective communication, and adaptability. My journey to ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ was later in life and is a bit different from the typical young graduate path. I began my professional career by studying accounting and then running my own business in China. However, I’ve always had a deep interest in technology. Five years ago, when my visa allowed me to study and work in Australia, I decided to pursue my passion for IT. Despite encountering doubts and challenges, I remained committed to this new direction. Attending numerous cloud solution events further fueled my curiosity. I was captivated by how cloud technology transforms industries and improves daily lives. Since then, in 30 months, I have earned 19 cloud computing certifications, including several in AI, and my enthusiasm for learning continues to grow. Joining ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ was a dream come true for me, as I was drawn to the company’s commitment to innovation, professional development, and a supportive workplace culture.
