Walk us through a Day in the Life of a Graduate Consultant: 

My day kicks off with an early rise, savouring a slow morning to set a positive tone. Whilst I work from home most days, I鈥檓 heading into the office early today for some uninterrupted focus time. Once my colleagues arrive, we rush to the caf茅 for the first of many coffee breaks for the day. Our mornings start with a daily stand-up meeting, ensuring we鈥檙e all aligned before tackling our challenges for the day. Each day brings something new 鈥� whether it鈥檚 client calls, experimenting with creative GenAI solutions, or tackling my next training course!

I find the afternoons tend to fly by as I get stuck into deep working sessions (interrupted by much needed coffee breaks of course). My recent project team are located on the east coast, so with the time difference, I find I get a little more uninterrupted focus time in the evening to wrap up my tasks before I head home.

What advice would you give to someone considering a career at 乌鸦传媒 as a graduate?

My advice to someone considering a career at 乌鸦传媒 as a Graduate is to leverage your network! Building relationships not only offers guidance and inspiration but also creates a platform for exchanging diverse perspectives. You often aren’t aware of the knowledge or experience that someone holds under their belt, so embrace curiosity and open-mindedness when engaging with your colleagues or peers, and seize every opportunity as a chance to learn and grow.

What excites you most about being a graduate at 乌鸦传媒?

As a Graduate at 乌鸦传媒, you鈥檙e thrown into the deep end, but that鈥檚 where the excitement lies. If you thrive on challenges, 乌鸦传媒 is the place for you. There is no 鈥渏ust a grad鈥� mentality here; you鈥檙e an integral part of the team, and each person鈥檚 unique perspective brings value. Reflecting on my journey, the goals I鈥檝e achieved and challenges I鈥檝e overcome have been a reward like no other.

Can you share your career journey as a graduate?

From day one, the support from senior leaders was a pleasant surprise to me, it allowed me to focus on adding value, and the journey to the goal, rather than the pressure of meeting expectations. 乌鸦传媒鈥檚 Graduate Program provides extensive training, so whether you鈥檝e had experience as a consultant or it鈥檚 your first time (like me), you are supported. Before joining 乌鸦传媒, I worked in a Human Resources role within the construction industry. Being one of Australia鈥檚 largest industries by employment, I never imagined I鈥檇 transition out of the construction industry, and into a tech company, but now I鈥檝e worked with clients in the Public Sector, Energy industry and Natural Resources industry. Despite having no tech background, I鈥檝e found my place here.
